Faenza Hospital receives 4,000 euros in bariatric medical equipment

The Ospedale degli Infermi in Faenza has received 4,000 euros worth of new medical equipment through the “Non Mollo 2025” solidarity initiative. The donation, which was officially delivered on August 21, provides specialized tools for the Rehabilitative Medicine Unit and other hospital departments.

A significant portion of the funds was used to purchase bariatric aids designed for patients with obesity or larger builds. These include a tilting bariatric wheelchair capable of supporting up to 250 kilograms, a desk-type bariatric walker to assist in early-stage weight-bearing recovery, and a bariatric rollator to improve patient autonomy and safety during walking rehabilitation.
