Faenza waste tax up 8.8% as Torino restaurant prices rise 3.3%

The Faenza municipal council approved an 8.80% increase in the local waste collection tax (TARI) for 2026, raising the projected cost to €14.4 million—about €1 million more than the previous year. The measure was passed with 14 votes in favour and eight against, aligning with the provincial plan that foresees an average 7.32% rise across Ravenna province through 2029.

In Turin, a separate local report shows restaurant menu prices have risen by 3.3%, adding to household expenses despite a slowdown in overall inflation. The increase affects everyday dining, from work lunches to weekend meals, and continues to pressure family budgets.
