Fafe Volunteer Firefighters raise over 15,000 euros

A solidarity event held for the Fafe Volunteer Firefighters successfully raised over 15,000 euros. The initiative, organized under the motto ‘Vamos Ajudar Quem Precisa’ (Let's Help Those in Need), aimed to fund the purchase of a drone to support rescue operations.

The funds were collected through participant registration fees, individual donations, and contributions from local companies. The event featured various outdoor activities, including mountain biking, jeep tours, motorcycle rides, classic car displays, cycle touring, and the traditional ‘Jogo do Pau Cepães’. Local officials, including the President of the Fafe Chamber, Antero Barbosa, and Councilor Helena Lemos, were in attendance.
