Fahadh Faasil stars in fantasy film Don’t Trouble the Trouble

The film ‘Don’t Trouble the Trouble’, directed by Shashank Yeleti and starring Fahadh Faasil, has received mixed reviews. The story follows Suri, a man driven by an obsession with money, who finds himself in debt to a gangster named Aslam Bhai after a failed scam. To settle a 25 lakh rupee debt within two days, Suri becomes involved in a situation involving Divya, a young girl played by newcomer Ssara Palekar who possesses supernatural abilities.

Critics have highlighted Fahadh Faasil’s performance as a significant strength, noting his ability to bring emotional depth and mischief to the character of Suri. Ssara Palekar has also been praised for her natural performance. However, some critiques suggest the film struggles with its screenplay and tone. One reviewer noted that the decision to have the audience aware of certain plot elements (such as Divya being a ghost) before the protagonist realizes them, may have hindered the film’s ability to function as an effective entertainer.
