Fahadh Faasil stars in Telugu lead debut Don’t Trouble The Trouble

Fahadh Faasil has transitioned to a leading man role in Telugu cinema with the release of the fantasy-comedy “Don’t Trouble The Trouble”. Directed by Shashank Yeleti and presented by S. S. Rajamouli, the film marks Faasil’s first major role as a solo protagonist in the Telugu market following his success in the “Pushpa” franchise.

The story follows Suri, a street-smart ambulance driver played by Faasil, who prioritizes money above all else. After falling into debt with a local figure named Aslam Bhai, Suri attempts to kidnap a child but instead forms an unexpected bond with a young girl named Divya, played by Ssara Palekar. The film is described as a “kids’ film for grown-ups,” blending magic, humor, and emotional themes regarding the value of human relationships.

While the film has received praise for its visual effects and the chemistry between the leads, some critiques note that the second half shifts focus toward chase sequences and emotional drama, potentially at the expense of the magic and comedy established in the first half.
