FAI d’Autunno 2026 to open 700 sites across Italy
The 15th edition of the Giornate FAI d’Autunno will take place on Saturday, October 10, and Sunday, October 11, 2026. Organized by the Fondo per l’Ambiente Italiano (FAI), the event will open more than 700 extraordinary sites across 350 Italian cities, many of which are typically inaccessible to the public.
This edition places a significant emphasis on Italian craftsmanship and the 'Made in Italy' brand. Beyond historical monuments, churches, and landscapes, the program includes industrial heritage sites, such as the Rubbettino publishing house in Calabria and the Leone candy factory in Collegno. FAI President Marco Magnifico noted that the initiative aims to highlight how productive excellence and tradition define Italy’s identity.
Regional highlights include the opening of Palazzo Magno in Campobasso, showcasing its institutional history and art collections, and various sites in Marche, Campania, and Calabria. The event is supported by the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy, with Minister Adolfo Urso describing the initiative as vital for valuing the country’s productive culture.
