Faiq Bolkiah becomes a free agent after leaving Ratchaburi FC

Faiq Bolkiah, a 28-year-old winger and member of the Bruneian royal family, has become a free agent following the expiration of his contract with the Thai League 1 club Ratchaburi FC.

Bolkiah, the nephew of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, is noted for his immense family wealth, estimated at approximately $20 billion to $30 billion. Despite this, he has pursued a professional football career, having spent time in the youth academies of Chelsea, Southampton, and Leicester City. His senior career includes stints with Maritimo in Portugal and several clubs in Southeast Asia, including Chonburi FC and Ratchaburi FC.

The Bruneian national team captain is currently evaluating options in international leagues to continue his professional playing career.
