Fair Park officials eye more major events after FIFA Fan Fest success

Dallas leaders are considering hosting more large-scale events at Fair Park following the successful operation of the FIFA Fan Fest this summer. The Dallas Parks and Recreation Board noted that the 30-day watch party event saw high attendance and no major incidents.

Fair Park General Manager Brett Wulke indicated that future efforts will focus on streamlining parking and traffic to better incorporate residents and various activations across the campus. The Dallas Sports Commission is also leveraging this momentum to prepare a bid for Dallas to host events during the 2031 Women's World Cup.
