Fairfax County child exploitation sting arrests three undocumented immigrants

Three undocumented immigrants were among nine men arrested during an undercover child exploitation operation in Fairfax County, Virginia. The suspects allegedly used online platforms to engage in sexually explicit conversations with minors posing as juveniles.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) identified the three undocumented individuals as Reyben Leono Sanchez Hernandez, 21; Wilmer Alexander Aguilar Cruz, 28; and Henry Adalberto Flores Herrera, 39. According to DHS, Sanchez Hernandez and Aguilar Cruz had both previously entered the United States illegally and were released during the Obama administration.

All three men have been released on bond. Sanchez Hernandez was released on a $3,000 secured bond, Aguilar Cruz on a $3,000 bond, and Flores Herrera on a $5,000 bond. DHS criticized local sanctuary policies and previous federal immigration enforcement practices for contributing to the presence of criminal undocumented individuals in the country.
