Fairmont launches luxury Sea to Sky Experience in British Columbia

Fairmont Empress in Victoria and Fairmont Chateau Whistler have launched the ‘Sea to Sky Experience,’ a luxury travel itinerary designed to connect British Columbia’s coastal and alpine landscapes.

The curated journey begins at the Fairmont Empress, located on Victoria’s Inner Harbour, and concludes at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler at the base of Blackcomb Mountain. The package includes accommodations at both properties, ground transportation, personalized trip planning, and a scenic seaplane flight via Harbour Air. The flight service, available via private charter or scheduled service from May to September, offers views of the province’s coastline, islands, and mountain ranges.

The launch follows recent recognition from the 2026 Travel + Leisure World’s Best Awards, where Fairmont Empress was named Canada’s No. 1 City Hotel and Fairmont Chateau Whistler was named Canada’s No. 1 Resort.
