Dutch manufacturer Fairphone is preparing the Fairphone 6+ as an upgraded version of its eco‑focused smartphone. The device will increase RAM from 8 GB to 12 GB and offer 256 GB of internal storage, with three colour options – Horizon Black, Forest Green and Cobalt Blue. While the core design and repairability remain unchanged, the higher memory may raise the price above the current €549.

Chinese brand Honor is set to launch the Robot Phone on 12 August. Unlike typical flagship phones, the model will be noticeably thicker and heavier to accommodate a gimbal‑stabilised camera system and larger image sensors. It will feature a 6.3‑inch LTPO display with a 2640 × 1216 resolution, targeting users who prioritise photographic capability over ultra‑slim form‑factor.
