Fairs.com launches digital platform for agricultural events

Fairs.com is introducing a digital platform designed to modernize the management and promotion of local agricultural community events. The initiative comes in response to declining livestock numbers, shrinking attendance, and the use of outdated technology by fair boards.

CEO Scott Hillier developed the all-in-one service to assist volunteer-led boards that often lack the time to manage complex software. The platform offers custom websites, integrated ticketing, social media scheduling, and automated marketing tools.

In partnership with Ian Hill and the ‘You Make the Difference’ initiative, the company provides free training, grants, and networking apps to agricultural societies. Future plans for the 2027 season include the ‘Fairs Across America’ tour, monthly online learning sessions, and new platform features such as vendor management and custom mobile apps.
