Fairshake crypto PACs spend $2.7M on U.S. House races
Affiliated committees of the Fairshake political ecosystem have disclosed $2.7 million in media spending aimed at U.S. House of Representatives races for the 2026 midterm elections. The expenditures, reported via Federal Election Commission filings, include advertising and direct-mail production to support candidates perceived as pro-digital asset policy.
The spending was conducted through two affiliates: the Republican-leaning Defend American Jobs and Protect Progress, and the Democratic-leaning Protect Progress. Specific allocations include over $500,000 for Representative Pete Aguilar and $500,000 for a New Jersey candidate, alongside six-figure support for incumbents such as Tom Emmer, Glenn Thompson, and Josh Gottheimer. All targeted candidates previously voted for the 2025 CLARITY Act, which sought to establish cryptocurrency market structure rules.
Fairshake has raised approximately $137.9 million between January 2025 and August 2026, with major backing from entities including Coinbase, Ripple, and Andreessen Horowitz. While the organization has focused heavily on the House, it has also reserved $30 million for Senate races, including efforts against former Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown.
