Faisal Naseer appointed NACTA National Coordinator

Major General Faisal Naseer of the Pakistan Army has been appointed as the National Coordinator of the National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA) for a three-year term. The appointment was officially confirmed by the federal government through a notification from the Establishment Division.

Naseer, who previously served as the Director General of Counter-Intelligence at the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), will oversee federal efforts to coordinate counter-terrorism and counter-extremism activities. His appointment comes as Pakistan conducts ongoing security operations to address militant violence, particularly in the regions of Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
