FAKE ME game adds 3D modeling to prop‑hunt genre
FAKE ME is a new multiplayer game that blends the hide‑and‑seek mechanics of Prop Hunt with the 3D‑sculpting concept of Meccha Chameleon. Players start as simple blocks and use in‑game modeling tools to reshape, resize and recolor their avatars, creating custom props that blend into the map. The game runs on Unreal Engine 5 and features a GradientSpaceRuntime Geometry Utils plugin that automatically regenerates UVs as models are edited, preserving painted textures.
Developers Eren Can Metin and Emre Gökçe of YUMEXE describe the toolset as intentionally simple, offering basic shapes, extrusion, inset, cut‑face functions and a paint mode with color picker, brush settings and material controls. The aim is to let anyone craft disguises without needing professional 3D skills while still providing depth for experienced modelers. FAKE ME is available on Steam via Proton/Wine.
