Fake Names announce third album ‘Punk Ruins’ and upcoming tours

The punk supergroup Fake Names has announced their third studio album, ‘Punk Ruins’, scheduled for release on October 23rd through Epitaph Records. The band, which features members from Bad Religion, Refused, Rocket From The Crypt, Girls Against Boys, and The Faith, has released the new single ‘Until It’s Normal’. The track reportedly addresses frustration regarding fascist propaganda.

The twelve-song album was recorded in five days at Electrical Audio in Chicago, produced by Matthew Barnhardy. Guitarist Brian Baker described the project as a collective effort that blends DC post-hardcore and power-pop.

In addition to the album release, the group has scheduled a series of shows. A run of dates is set for February of next year in several U.S. cities, including Brooklyn, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Chicago, and Detroit. The band is also planning their first tour in Europe, which will include stops in Germany.
