Faker commemorative stamps see high demand in South Korea

Korea Post has released a commemorative stamp collection honoring League of Legends professional player Lee Sang-hyeok, widely known as Faker. The release saw significant demand, with the entire online allocation selling out within half a day of its October 23, 2026, launch. Collectors queued overnight at the Seoul Central Post Office to secure the items.

The collection traces Faker’s career from his 2013 debut through his numerous professional achievements, including six World Championship titles and ten LCK titles. The stamps feature designs depicting Faker alongside iconic in-game champions tied to his career milestones, such as Ahri, Yone, Sylas, and Galio.

Available formats include stamp sheets, albums, and a highly limited edition of 507 individually numbered metal cards. To celebrate the release, Korea Post also opened the Faker Special Exhibition Hall at the Stamp Museum within the Seoul Central Post Office.
