Fakhar Zaman joins United Tigers for Abu Dhabi T10

Pakistan cricketer Fakhar Zaman has been named the icon player for the new United Tigers franchise in the 2026 Abu Dhabi T10. The 36-year-old left-handed batter brings extensive experience from various global leagues and international cricket to the team. The tournament is scheduled to take place at Zayed Cricket Stadium from November 7 to 20.

Separately, Pakistani batter Saud Shakeel has commented on the development of spinner Usman Tariq. Shakeel noted that while Tariq made a rapid impact following his T20I debut, opposition batters are increasingly preparing for his methods. Shakeel suggested that Tariq must evolve his tactical approach to maintain his effectiveness as the initial novelty of his bowling diminishes.
