Fakuma 2026 to showcase electric injection molding and industry collective stands

The Fakuma 2026 trade fair, scheduled for October 12–16 in Friedrichshafen, will feature significant industry developments in manufacturing and toolmaking.

The WITTMANN Group will showcase three fully electric injection molding machines designed to enhance energy efficiency and reduce material and space requirements. Key exhibits include the new EcoPrimus machine, which is optimized for high-volume single-component injection molding and will demonstrate its capabilities by producing insulin pen protective caps. Other displays include a MicroPower machine for microfluidic diagnostic components and an EcoPower machine working with Nexus Elastomer Systems to produce beverage container lids.

Additionally, the Association of German Tool and Mold Makers (VDWF) will host the largest collective stand at the exhibition. The stand features approximately 60 companies and institutions, ranging from tool and mold makers to software providers and research facilities. The VDWF presence aims to provide a cross-industry overview of the value chain and includes specialized programming such as guided tours for apprentices and additive manufacturing showcases.
