Fala, Bolacheira! event to host debates and music in Alagoas

The second edition of the Fala, Bolacheira! event is scheduled for August 29 at Theatro Homerinho in Jaraguá. Held during Lesbian Visibility Month, the event is designed exclusively for women who love women and focuses on the theme “Parem de nos matar” (Stop killing us).

The program includes panel discussions regarding violence faced by lesbian women, such as lesbophobia, lesbicidie, institutional violence, and barriers to healthcare and legal rights. Participants include legal experts, medical professionals, and academic researchers. The event also features musical performances by Fernanda Guimarães and Huná, alongside DJ Clariar. The initiative is supported by the National Aldir Blanc Policy for Cultural Promotion and the Government of Alagoas.
