Falcom announces Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter remake and series updates

Falcom and its partners have announced new updates and releases for the Legend of Heroes series. A demo for the remake Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter is now available for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The game, a remake of the 2006 title The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC, is scheduled for release on September 17, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The demo allows players to experience the prologue and first chapter, with progress transferable to the full version.

Additionally, The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero and Trails to Azure have been released for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2. Existing Switch and PC versions have received patches introducing new features, including a “Texture Style” setting that allows players to switch between modernized and classic textures, as well as color space options for sRGB and bt.709.
