Falcon Global SARL seeks 10 million FCFA from MTN

Falcon Global SARL, a Cameroonian SME, is seeking 10,529,927 FCFA following the prolonged freezing of two MTN Mobile Money accounts since January 2023.

The company reports that the blockage of its working capital has led to significant operational difficulties, including job losses for employees. Despite legal actions involving multiple lawyers, bailiffs, and police requisitions, the funds remain inaccessible. Falcon Global claims to have documentation from MTN partners confirming that the decision to block the accounts rests with MTN Cameroon, yet the company has received no response from the Director General of MTN Mobile Money Cameroon.
