Falconara beach hosts Furgolibro and itinerant circus for children's reading promotion
On Thursday, 18 June 2026, the Rocca Mare stretch of Falconara’s beach became a reading hub from 18:00 to 19:30. Animators from the Acchiappasogni association and librarians from the municipal library organized a high‑voice reading session for children, featuring stories from Carlo Collodi’s Pinocchio on the occasion of the character’s 200th anniversary.
The event included the mobile “Furgolibro” library and the travelling “Circo(lo) itinerante”, which had launched earlier on 4 June from Falconara’s Carletti park. The Furgolibro will return on 30 June and will continue throughout the summer, travelling through eight partner municipalities: Falconara Marittima, Chiaravalle, Polverigi, Camerata Picena, Monte San Vito, Moie, Agugliano and Corinaldo. Vice‑mayor Marco Giacanella, delegate for culture, said the initiative turns the beach into a space of discovery and fantasy, making reading accessible and fostering community interaction among families.
