Falkensteiner Resort Lake Garda officially opens in Salò
The Falkensteiner Michaeler Tourism Group (FMTG) has officially opened the Falkensteiner Resort Lake Garda in Salò, Italy. The project, representing a total investment of approximately 150 million euros, is situated on the former site of the Tavina mineral water bottling plant.
This mixed-use development combines a five-star hotel with branded residences. The first phase, which includes the hotel and initial apartments, is now operational, having welcomed guests since July. The full project is expected to be completed by summer 2027 and will eventually feature 85 hotel rooms and suites, 174 private apartments, and four villas.
Designed by Matteo Thun & Partners, the resort emphasizes a connection between architecture and the natural landscape of Lake Garda. Amenities include a 5,500-square-meter Acquapura Spa with multiple pools, various dining options, and a Mediterranean botanical park covering 55,000 square meters. CEO Otmar Michaeler stated that the project aims to integrate hospitality, real estate development, and gastronomy to revitalize the location.
