Fall franchise expands with sequel 'Fall 2: Deadpoint

The 2022 survival thriller ‘Fall’ has expanded into a franchise with the announcement of its sequel, ‘Fall 2: Deadpoint’. The original film, directed by Scott Mann, was produced on a budget of approximately $3 million and grossed roughly $21.7 million worldwide.

The sequel follows Jax (Harriet Slater), who is grieving the death of her sister Hunter (Virginia Gardner). To cope with her loss, Jax and Luce (Arsema Thomas) attempt a climb on Mount Kwan in Thailand. The plot centers on their struggle for survival after a sudden landslide leaves them stranded at an altitude of 910 meters.

Directed by Michael and Peter Spierig, the production features a screenplay by Scott Mann and Jonathan Frank. Christian Mercuri, CEO of Capstone, stated that the new sequences offer opportunities to expand the original franchise and challenge global audiences.
