Fall River pickup truck crash injures three and damages apartment building

A white pickup truck crashed into an apartment building on Brayton Avenue in Fall River, Massachusetts, on Saturday morning, leaving three people injured. Emergency responders reported that one individual was trapped inside the vehicle, while a second person was pinned underneath it. Firefighters performed extrication measures for approximately 40 minutes to free the person trapped under the truck.

The crash caused extensive structural damage to the home, displacing all occupants. One victim was transported to the Rhode Island Hospital Trauma Center, while the other two were taken to local hospitals; the extent of their injuries remains unknown. During the rescue, live wires were sparking from the house and the vehicle, requiring National Grid to cut power to the area to ensure safety.

A witness stated the driver sped down the street and flipped over a barrier before hitting the building. The driver has been arrested.
