Falso Nove and O Nó release new musical works

The musical landscape sees new releases from Falso Nove and O Nó.

Falso Nove has released their second full-length original album, ‘Não Sonho Quase Nada’. Following their 2023 debut ‘Horta da Luz’, this ten-song collection explores themes of childhood, memory, and the transition into adulthood. The album addresses feelings of anxiety, loneliness, and alienation, using childhood as a lens to examine the loss of imagination and freedom. The creative direction was influenced by a quote from photographer Nan Goldin regarding how socialization causes individuals to forget their innate knowledge.

Meanwhile, the São Paulo-based band O Nó is preparing the release of their third studio album, ‘Pedra da Lua’, scheduled for 2026. The group, which includes members Rodolfo Almeida, Mateus Bentivegna, Alexandre Drobac, and Lucas Tamashiro, explores a sound ranging from psychedelic and progressive to dream pop. The new work reflects on maturity, family, and life experiences after reaching age 30. The album was recorded at Estúdio El Rocha.
