Fama Rehabilitaciones to build protected housing in Elche

Under the municipal 'Casa Fácil' plan in Elche, Spain, Fama Rehabilitaciones has begun promoting a new protected housing development in the El Pla area. The project involves the construction of 168 homes on a site located near the IES Periodista Vicente Verdú.

The initiative is part of a broader municipal strategy where Pimesa transfers land to private developers to build protected housing (VPP) at prices regulated by the Generalitat Valenciana. In this specific arrangement, Pimesa will retain 37 units for rental purposes, while the remainder will be managed by the developer.

The planned development includes 230 parking spaces, 230 storage rooms, and two commercial premises. Designed by architect Fernando García, the residential blocks are expected to feature community pools, landscaped areas, and aerothermal heating systems.
