Famasul hosts Suzano and German Wepa to boost inclusion‑productive program in Brazil

On 28 May, the Sistema Famasul in Mato Grosso do Sul welcomed executives from Suzano Brazil, Suzano Europe and German hygiene firm Wepa. The delegation toured local agribusiness, learned about the Inclusion Productive initiative and discussed ways to broaden its impact.

Famasul’s director‑treasurer Frederico Stella highlighted that the organization supports roughly 10 000 farms, improving production, income and family quality of life. He noted the project has already reached more than 995 people, with 567 participants moving out of poverty, and aims to assist 1 491 individuals by 2028.

German Purchasing Director Christoph Schlinkmann observed concrete results, stating he had begun the visit by seeing the products made by families served by ATeG Agroindústria, underscoring the tangible benefits of the program. The Inclusion Productive project combines technical assistance, training, technology access and input provision, underpinned by socioeconomic diagnostics, farm planning and ongoing monitoring.
