FAME 33: Black Panther wins Grand Freaks Tournament

The FAME 33 event in Warsaw featured several high-profile matchups and a dramatic conclusion to the Grand Freaks Tournament. Patryk ‘Black Panther’ Akinyeye won the tournament via technical decision after the final against Sebastian ‘Scarface’ Skiermański was interrupted due to an injury to Skiermański.

Akinyeye entered the final as a replacement for Michał Pasternak, who withdrew due to health reasons. The tournament final was contested under K-1 rules with small gloves. During the fight, Akinyeye secured two knockdowns in the second round, though the match ended prematurely following a medical intervention.

Other notable bouts at the gala included a match between Kamil ‘LeQu’ Rosik and Marek ‘Bad Boy Jr.’ Franek, which required an extra round to decide a winner after a draw following four rounds. Additionally, Marta Linkiewicz was scheduled to face kickboxing champion Julia Stasiuk in a boxing match.
