Fameck Book and Fair celebrates Jean de La Fontaine

The 9th edition of the Fameck Book and Fair (Salon et Foire aux Livres) is scheduled for Sunday, September 27, at the Victor Hugo hall. This year’s theme focuses on the works of Jean de La Fontaine, featuring characters such as the crow, the fox, the hare, and the tortoise in various workshops.

The event will feature 56 authors for book signings and includes Sylvain Kastendeuch, the former FC Metz captain, as the guest of honor. He will discuss his book, ‘Derrière le masque’, co-authored with journalist Pierre Théobald. Céline Claire, a children’s author, will serve as the event’s godmother.

Activities for attendees include magic shows, caricature, calligraphy, and a LEGO mural based on La Fontaine’s fables created by the LOR’BRIQUES association. Entry to the event is free.
