FamiCord AG to transfer to Frankfurt Stock Exchange Scale segment
FamiCord AG, a major global cell bank, has received approval from Deutsche Börse AG to transfer its stock exchange listing from the Prime Standard regulated market to the Scale segment of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange’s Open Market.
The transition is scheduled to take effect on 19 August 2026, with the final day of trading in the Prime Standard segment occurring on 18 August 2026. The company’s ISIN, WKN, and ticker symbol will remain unchanged.
According to CEO Jakub Baran, the move aims to create a capital markets framework better aligned with the company’s size and structure while reducing regulatory complexity. The transfer utilizes a statutory option introduced by the Act to Strengthen Germany as a Financial Centre (Standortförderungsgesetz – StoFöG), which facilitates simplified transfers from regulated markets to SME growth markets.
