Families search for two missing men in Zapopan and Puerto Vallarta

Families in Mexico are searching for two men reported missing in different regions.

In Zapopan, the family of 30-year-old Edgar Martínez is seeking help to locate him after he disappeared on Thursday, August 21. His wife reported that he was last seen briefly at his home before heading to a hospital to accompany his sister. Relatives expressed concern that his disappearance may be linked to forced recruitment and have called for an investigation to clarify his whereabouts.

In Puerto Vallarta, authorities and family members are searching for 34-year-old Sammy Daniel Pérez Rojas, who has been missing since July 31. Pérez Rojas is described as approximately 1.75 meters tall with a thin or medium build, dark brown hair, and brown eyes. He has a distinctive tattoo on his leg consisting of the letters ‘P’ and ‘R’ with a dark design. His family noted that he is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
