CEIC José Nicolau Pinto relocates to new facility in Cuiabá

The CEIC José Nicolau Pinto, a center providing full-time care for 96 children aged 1 to 3, is relocating to a new facility in Cuiabá. The Municipal Education Secretariat began moving furniture into the new space, located at the former Pe. Agostinho Colli school in the Goiabeiras neighborhood, on Monday (31).

The new facility, which previously housed the House of Education Councils, has undergone modernizations to improve service quality and well-being. Upgrades include larger classrooms to prevent splitting groups, a functional kitchen, a large air-conditioned dining hall capable of serving all children simultaneously, and improved ventilation and bathroom facilities for both children and staff.

This relocation follows a recommendation from the State Court of Accounts (TCE). The center had been operating at its previous location on Avenida Barão de Melgaço since 2017. Parents and guardians were notified of the transition and the temporary suspension of services required to organize the move.
