Family horror film released by Vertical

The supernatural horror film ‘Family’, written and directed by Benjamin Finkel, is being released by Vertical in select theaters and on VOD platforms.

Set in the suburbs of Philadelphia, the story follows ten-year-old Johanna and her parents, Naomi and Harry, who have moved to Naomi’s childhood home to care for her physically ailing father. The plot centers on Johanna discovering an otherworldly presence within a birdhouse. As her father’s illness worsens and dark visions emerge, Johanna begins to experience a warping of reality that blurs the line between a ghost story and a psychological drama involving family insecurities.

The film stars Ruth Wilson, Ben Chaplin, and Lucinda Lee Dawson Gray.
