Family members seek answers in separate disappearance cases

In the Dominican Republic, the family of taxi driver José Heriberto Torres is demanding answers following his disappearance last Saturday. His vehicle was discovered completely burned near the Las Américas International Airport (AILA). While authorities reportedly suggested surveillance footage shows an individual exiting the burning vehicle and jumping into the sea, family members state that no human remains were found in the car. They are requesting access to the airport's security footage to verify these claims and clarify Torres's whereabouts.

In Spain, search operations are underway for a 73-year-old former teacher who has been missing since Saturday from the Torres Torres area. The man, who suffers from Alzheimer's and hypertension, was last seen in the El Tochar residential area. Despite searches involving the Civil Guard, forest brigades, firefighters, and canine units, his location remains unknown. Authorities have previously conducted aerial searches via helicopter, and efforts are expected to resume in frequently visited areas.
