Family moves to university canteen to fulfill father's promise

A heartwarming story involving a student named Zheng Ting has gained significant attention on social media. After Zheng Ting was admitted to study accounting at the Jiangsu Vocational College of Commerce in Nantong, Jiangsu province, her family fulfilled a long-standing promise.

During her high school years, Zheng Ting’s father had jokingly promised that he would cook for her at whichever school she eventually attended. While Zheng Ting initially viewed this as a mere joke, her father secured a business opportunity to operate a food stall within the university's canteen. Consequently, her parents and grandmother moved to Nantong to run the stall, ensuring she could have home-cooked meals while pursuing her studies.
