Family of Argentine model Natacha Jaitt seeks reopening of death case

The family of Argentine model and actress Natacha Jaitt, who died on 23 February 2019 in Benavídez, Tigre district, has petitioned ordinary justice to reopen the investigation into her death. Lawyers Yamil Castro Bianchi, Rodrigo Tripolone and Daniela Spinelli, representing Ulises Jaitt, filed a formal request with the San Isidro Judicial Department, which had archived the case in 2024. The request also asks for urgent protective measures and for the Argentine Forensic Anthropology Team (EAAF) to be engaged.

The original dossier, labelled “investigation of causes of death,” concluded that no criminal act had occurred; prosecutors Martín Otero and Lidia Osores Soler cited an autopsy that found multi‑organ failure following cocaine consumption. The family, however, alleges procedural irregularities, contradictory witness statements and suspects the possibility of homicide, prompting their appeal for a new inquiry.
