Family of three missing after traveling from Tijuana to Rosarito
Authorities in Baja California are searching for three members of a family who disappeared while traveling from Tijuana to Playas de Rosarito on September 19. The missing individuals have been identified as 68-year-old Rosa María Cazares Rodríguez, her 48-year-old son Juan Omar Mendoza Cazares, and his 25-year-old wife Lilia Elena Madero Plascencia.
The family was last seen leaving their residence in the El Rubí neighborhood in Tijuana, traveling in a red Ford Escape. They never arrived at their intended destination for a meal, and their mobile phones have shown no activity since their disappearance.
The Fiscalía General del Estado (FGE) has launched field investigations in the coastal region and released physical descriptions to assist the public. Rosa María is described as having curly brown hair and a surgical scar on her right arm; Juan Omar has wavy hair with some gray and varicose veins; and Lilia Elena has straight blonde hair and a flower tattoo on her ribs.
