Family Solidarity Network holds 50th meeting in Esenyurt
The Family Solidarity Network (ADA), an organization founded by victims of the March 19 operations, held its 50th meeting at Esenyurt Republic Square. The gathering coincided with the second anniversary of the operations conducted against the Esenyurt Municipality.
Attendees included Dilek Kaya İmamoğlu, wife of Istanbul Metropolitan Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, YENİ Party Vice Chairman Suat Özçağdaş, and Esenyurt Mayor Ahmet Özer, who was removed from office. During the event, Dilek Kaya İmamoğlu criticized the judicial treatment of elected local officials, alleging that the will of the people is being undermined through politicized legal actions.
She emphasized that the principles of the Republic, including justice, equality, and democracy, are under threat. She stated that the current trend of conducting operations against municipalities represents a disregard for national sovereignty and the rights of citizens.
