Italy offers family autumn excursions in Monferrato and Caserta

Families in Italy can explore seasonal landscapes and historical sites through various autumn activities. In the Monferrato region of Piedmont, the post-harvest period in October and November offers vibrant foliage across vineyards and hills. This area, part of the UNESCO World Heritage site Langhe-Roero and Monferrato, features scenic drives and villages such as Cella Monte, Rosignano Monferrato, Olivola, and Vignale Monferrato, making it suitable for short walks and outdoor observation.

In Caserta, the Reggia di Caserta is participating in the “Coltiviamo la Cultura” national program. As part of this initiative, the Serre di Graefer within the English Garden will be exceptionally open to the public for free on November 8, 2026. The program aims to highlight the connection between historical estates and agricultural landscapes, showcasing how these sites maintain local traditions and support the regional agri-food and tourism systems.
