Family Zoo in Lipová-lázně, Czech Republic Put Up for Sale with Tigers and Pumas

A family‑run zoological park in Lipová‑lázně, near Jeseník in the Czech Republic, has been listed for sale. The 900‑square‑metre agricultural property is offered at 35 million CZK and includes the animals on site – tigers, pumas, kangaroos, parrots, lemurs, llamas and more – as well as facilities such as an apartment house, garages, a restaurant, a dance hall, heat‑pump systems, a photovoltaic plant and a battery storage unit.

Owner and founder Petr Augustýn said the family decided to sell because operating the park is demanding and they need rest. The summer season will continue for now, but the zoo is unlikely to reopen next year unless a buyer is found. Augustýn warned that without a purchaser the park could close permanently and the animals would have to be gradually re‑homed. Real‑estate broker David Kortla confirmed that the zoo holds all necessary licences and permits, allowing a new owner to keep the existing wildlife.
