FamilyMart and Taishin Bank launch co-branded card to boost loyalty
FamilyMart has partnered with Taishin Bank to launch the ‘FamilyMart Richart Co-branded Card’, aiming to deepen its retail-finance ecosystem. The initiative focuses on converting external banking points into FamilyMart ‘Fa points’ to drive store traffic.
With a membership base of 20.5 million, FamilyMart is shifting its strategy from increasing member volume to enhancing member value and loyalty. The new card features an automatic daily transfer mechanism that converts Taishin Points into Fa points, which can be used for food, beverages, and daily necessities.
Key incentives include up to 3.8% rewards on specified payment methods and access to an exclusive digital marketplace offering buy-one-get-one deals and quarterly coupons. FamilyMart aims to issue 100,000 cards by the end of this year and 600,000 by the end of next year.
