FamilyMart to release Wasabi Beef flavored potato salad

FamilyMart is expanding its 45th-anniversary celebration, ‘Famima Collaboration Festival,’ with the release of a new potato salad inspired by Yamayoshi Seika’s ‘Wasabi Beef’ snack. Scheduled for release on September 8, 2026, the product uses Azumino-grown stem wasabi to replicate the signature spicy flavor of the original snack.

The collaboration was highly anticipated, ranking first in a media survey as the most unexpected product choice, receiving 23.4% support. The ongoing festival has already seen significant success, with cumulative sales of target products exceeding 4.5 million units within the first five days of the campaign.
