Famitsu celebrates 40th anniversary with special TV collaboration

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the gaming media outlet Famitsu, a special two-week collaboration will air on the TOKYO MX variety program ‘Noda Crystal no Yabou: Game Tenka Toitsu e no Michi’. The broadcasts are scheduled for August 25 and September 1, 2026.

The special features the ‘New Game Cross Review’ segment from Weekly Famitsu. Editors Hiroko Saga and Tadakatsu Miyagawa will appear in the studio to introduce titles such as ‘Rhythm Heaven’ and ‘Cho Aniki’ for the show’s cast—including Noda Crystal, Shinya, Aoki Macho, and Hirochin—to review live.

The reviews conducted on the program will also be featured in the September 24 issue of Weekly Famitsu, released on September 10, 2026.
