Famitsu releases weekly video game review scores

Famitsu has released its latest round of video game review scores for the week of October 17, 2026. Notable scores include Minecraft Dungeons 2 receiving a 9/8/8/8, while Final Fantasy Resonance, EA Sports FC 27, and Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 all earned 8/8/8/8.

Demons’ Night Fever received a total score of 7/8/7/7. Reviewers highlighted the game’s unique tactical depth, noting a system where players use allied units as expendable resources to trigger powerful skills or heal. While the turn-based simulation RPG was praised for its unconventional mechanics, quirky humor, and rewarding progression, some critics noted that the intense gameplay mechanics could occasionally hinder story immersion or feel tedious during certain procedures.
