Famous Dex arrested in Las Vegas on domestic battery charges

Chicago rapper Famous Dex, born Dexter Gore, was arrested in Las Vegas on Sunday, Aug. 23, on domestic battery charges. He reportedly remains in custody at a local jail.

Following the arrest, the alleged victim, Pamalla Rodriguez, shared images on social media documenting injuries including bruising around the eye, a bloodied eye socket, and a bruised lip. Rodriguez stated she was physically assaulted and choked, and further alleged that Gore attempted to convince her to lie about the incident.

This arrest occurs as the 32-year-old artist was attempting a professional comeback. He had recently reached 11 months of sobriety and was working on a new collaborative project, ‘Rich Forever 5’, with Rich The Kid and Jay Critch. This legal development follows a 2021 incident where Dex faced 19 charges related to domestic violence and firearm offenses, resulting in a 364-day jail sentence.
