Fan Expo Canada 2026 announces celebrity lineup and events

Fan Expo Canada is scheduled to take place from August 27–30, 2026, in Toronto. The event will feature a wide array of celebrity guests and activities spanning comics, sci-fi, anime, gaming, and film.

Major scheduled guests include Mark Hamill, John Cena, Mel Gibson, Elijah Wood, Alan Ritchson, Mr. T, Sean Astin, and Frank Miller. Special ticketed events include a reunion of The Lord of the Rings cast—Elijah Wood, Sean Astin, Dominic Monaghan, and Billy Boyd—to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the franchise. Other highlighted experiences include a VIP meet and greet with Colin O’Donoghue and a dedicated experience with comic artist Joe Quesada.

Attendees can participate in panels, workshops, shopping, and Artist Alley, with many fans participating through cosplay.
