Fan Zhendong debuts with two wins for Borussia Düsseldorf

Chinese table tennis superstar Fan Zhendong made a highly anticipated debut for Borussia Düsseldorf, leading the team to a 3-1 victory against TSV Bad Königshofen in the Table Tennis Bundesliga.

To accommodate the large crowd of approximately 3,500 to 3,800 spectators, the match was moved to the Mitsubishi Electric Halle. Fan Zhendong secured two individual victories during the event. In his first match, he overcame a setback after losing the opening set to Bad Königshofen's André Bertelsmeier, eventually winning in four sets.

Other notable performances included a victory by Dang Qiu, who overcame a set deficit against Liao Cheng-Ting to secure a 2-1 lead for Borussia Düsseldorf. However, Kanak Jha suffered a 1-3 defeat against Filip Zeljko.
