Fani Willis reports fraudulent voter registration in New York

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has reported that she was the target of a fraudulent voter registration attempt in New York City. An unauthorized application was submitted in her name, falsely claiming she is a Republican residing at Trump Tower in Manhattan, while using the Fulton County Courthouse in Atlanta as the mailing address.

Willis, a lifelong Democrat, discovered the filing after receiving a notice from the New York City Board of Elections stating the registration was being canceled due to suspected fraud. The application reportedly included a forged signature, an incorrect date of birth, and the wrong political party affiliation.

The New York City Board of Elections confirmed the cancellation and stated there is no record of any vote being cast under the registration. Willis has described the incident as harassment and is in contact with a New York prosecutor to determine if criminal charges will be pursued.
